Leroy’s Priorities

Rancho Cordova is a great city, defining itself as an employment center within the region, while still establishing itself as the place to live and raise a family. As your city council representative, I will use my experience to help our Rancho Cordova community continue to grow businesses, as well as attract fun things for our families to do.

Infrastructure

Investing in our city's infrastructure is critical to safely connect our city to the rest of Sacramento County and ensuring we are attractive to small businesses looking to grow and large businesses wishing to expand or relocate.

Housing

I believe we need to work with regional partners to ensure we are limiting barriers to housing development, and provide housing options at all levels. We need work with the County and others to ensure our vulnerable housed residents have resource to stay afloat and prevent them falling into homelessness. It is critical to champion long-term solutions to combat homelessness.

Business

As a business champion, I will work to limit barriers to small businesses that want to launch in our community, partner to develop programs to build a qualified workforce, and advocate for job growth.

Education

We must continue to invest in our future by providing appropriate facilities and quality education for the youth in our city. This means collaborating with our education partners to find solutions to any barriers inhibiting students’ success. I will work with Elk Grove Unified School District to ensure they build a new High School and Middle School soon!
