Leroy Tripette has been a proud resident of Rancho Cordova for over a decade, currently serving as a Planning Commissioner, Chair 2023. He has years of experience bringing groups together to solve issues, create workforce opportunities and help businesses and people thrive.

Leroy began his professional career at one of the largest technology companies in the region, where he held numerous software engineering and technical project management positions within the company. This included managing strategic community and education programs within the Greater Sacramento region and most of California. From there he transitioned to a community owned utility where he focused on helping small businesses grow their bottom line.

Leroy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Morehouse College and continues to give time back speaking to students about the value of an HBCU education.

He is focused on making Rancho Cordova a family-friendly city, attracting opportunities for recreation for residents to enjoy, and helping make our city attractive for businesses. Leroy and his wife Torrey (who serves as Mrs. Rancho Cordova) have two children, Alexander (3) and Jaden (a recent Pre-Med graduate of Morehouse).
